I have been going here for quite a few years and have always had a great experience. My baby son just had his first dentist appointment and they made it very easy and welcoming for him and us. I highly recommend the office and have had very gentle care by Pamela. Now my whole family goes here. July 2021** adding onto last review ** now with my two kids in tow, checkups are a breeze. The kids look forward to seeing the dentist and the excellent staff- Pam is still amazing with me, gentle, and patient as always. Now my whole family comes here and we’re so happy with our care. Can’t say enough really.
The name sounds very ordinary, Saanich Dental Group, but this is not an ordinary dental office. The professional administrative staff are very friendly and helpful, and the dental team is compassionate and very skilled. I like that the dentists tell me what they’re going to be doing before they do it and communicate very well. The workmanship has been beyond expectation. And when I have had dental emergencies in off hours, my dentist has always been available to determine what action we need to take. I have had a lot of dental work that was necessary and have serious anxiety. I am impressed with the caring approach they have shown me. They do everything possible to make the appointment comfortable and are open to suggestions for that. My dentist knows the challenges I have and always begins with a bit of conversation before beginning. I think I am a challenging patient and I have nothing but good to say about this dental office and their staff. I really like them all and will continue to be part of their dental family for years to come. Thanks for caring!
Why go anywhere else? The office staff are super friendly. My hygienist is also super friendly. And my dentist is super friendly. That aside, they are also all professional and competent. This office was recommended to me by two different people for a reason. I am very happy with my decision to join Saanich Dental.
Our whole family goes to SDG, and I'm so glad we discovered the practice. Having been to many different dentists over the years, here is what I appreciate about this place. One, Dr. Nip was incredibly gentle and engaging with our 6 year old. She has never feared going to the dentist and loves the experience. Two, my wife tends to be very particular about hygienists, and has nothing but great things to say. Finally, I've had several checkups, and cleanings there as well - and I'm very happy with the service. Specifically, how painless the cleanings are, and how easy the whole process from booking to payment is.
‘Dental Dan’ is the only person who has been able to clean my sons teeth. He is fun -yet calm - and engages my son the entire time with excellent stories. The staff is kind and they take a lot of time to make my son feel welcome and safe. I would highly recommend this clinic- especially for kids!
