I LOVE smiles by design. I very much appreciate that the dentist is nobody's favourite place to be, but it seems to me that the staff go above and beyond to make the experience as good as they can. From TV on the ceiling to generally very friendly staff and a beautiful and very clean office, Smiles By Design is a wonderful place to go and absolutely a recommendation for those who are nervous about visiting the dentist.
I started going here about a year ago. Incredible care and attention to detail for the whole family with the incredible team at Smiles by Design. Excellent scaling with Rebecca M., and a great result with fillings by Dr Kevin on a few teeth that were tricky due to being left too long during covid and coming from a different dentist/city. Everyone is so kind and friendly, thoughtful and patient with any questions or concerns. The office is stunning: modern and perfectly clean. Nice system of text reminders. Great location behind Urban Grocer/Shoppers on Oak Bay Av. 5-star experience!
Dr. Lowe is very professional in his work but at the same time very down to earth with people. I can thank Dr. John Emerson who we were with for 30 years before his demise for choosing him to work in his practice. All of Dr. Lowe's other staff in his office are reliable and kind. My husband and I feel very fortunate to have him for our Dentist.
I was nervous because it's been years since I had a cleaning. Have had some pretty rough experiences in the past. But Brooke was great! The numbing stuff they use at Smiles By Design is better than other places for sure. Thank you!
Love my experience at this dental office! Dr. Lowe is efficient and listens to my concerns, and the rest of the staff are friendly, helpful, and work hard to make all aspects of my visit smooth and as stress-free as possible. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new dentist in this area!
